Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson removed an over zealous fan from the stage during a show in Anaheim, California September 22 while on their North American Legacy of The Beast Tour. The fan, wearing black baseball cap turned around hopped onto the stage and began head banging, throwing the devil horns at guitarist Janick Gers and excitedly jumping around during their performance of the bands final song of the evening, Aces High.
The band never broke stride and continued playing throughout the entire comedic scene while a visibly irritated Bruce grabbed him by the hand and attempted to lead him backstage. The fan then broke free and ran up to bassist Steve Harris. This is when Bruce seemed to have lost his patience and grabbed him by the back of the shirt and yanked him to the back of the stage to security who proceeded to escort him out. The hilarious scene was caught on film by a fan in the audience and is going viral.
Maiden’s North American leg of The Legacy of the Beast tour wraps up on Oct. 27 and you can get tickets for the remaining stops here. Next year, they’ll hit Europe on The Future Past tour, with a special focus placed on the Senjutsu and Somewhere In Time albums.
