Last March, TÝR released A Night At The Nordic House (With The Symphony Orchestra Of The Faroe Islands), a special event recorded in February of 2020. “Working with the Symphony Orchestra was without a doubt one of the highlights of our careers,” noted vocalist Heri Joensen. “The feeling of sheer sophisticated power behind us was extraordinarily uplifting. We were awed by how well the songs worked in a symphonic setting. We are very excited to finally release a live [double] DVD, CD and LP, and even with the incredible new artwork by Gyula Havancsák, that excellently captures the epic atmosphere of the event.”

Christmas time is here again! King Diamond‘s No Presents for Christmaswas originally released in 1985 and now Metal Blade Records is reissuing this 2-track classic on vinyl, just in time for Black Friday. No Presents for Christmasfeatures new cover art and is available worldwide in two new vinyl colors. Side 1 features the title track, “No Presents for Christmas” and Side 2 features “Charon” (from “Fatal Portrait”). In honor of the release, the band has also worked with their US merch company to offer a lithograph signed by King Diamondhimself.
Here’s what King had to say: “We are very happy to make No Presents for Christmas available on vinyl again, and with a brand new cover! Livia worked on the glass mansion on the cover – it’s a mansion she designed that I just loved and said we must use this for something! The cover came out exactly how we wanted it to, and it looks like something you would find in the Christmas albums aisle alongside Frank Sinatra. It has the Christmas feeling, but with something dark and sinister when you examine it more closely. I look like a ghost – the ghost of trying to destroy Christmas! This is the first King Diamond song that was ever released and was originally performed live back in December of 1985, it’s very special to us and we hope you enjoy No Presents for Christmas as much as we do!“
In other King Diamond news, the band recently released a music video for the single “Masquerade of Madness” with David Brodsky and Allison Woest of MyGoodEye Visuals, which can be viewed HERE!
About the band: KING DIAMOND is quite possibly the most recognizable and prolific personality ever in heavy metal. Revered by icons as big as Metallica and Pantera to inspiring new upstarts like Goatwhore; KING DIAMOND, the man and the band, have left an indelible mark on the history, and now again, the future of heavy metal.
In August of 2008, KING DIAMOND joined Metallica on stage at Ozzfest in Dallas to perform the Mercyful Fate medley made famous from the Garage, Inc. album. Additionally, KING DIAMOND was featured alongside Motorhead‘s Lemmy Kilmister as a playable character in Guitar Hero: Metallica in 2009.
By 2012, KING DIAMOND was prepared to return to the stage for a select number of shows. The band’s triumphant return to the stage were the highlights of both the Hellfest and Sweden Rock festivals in France and Sweden. Fans at these festivals were treated to the largest and most involved stage production in the band’s storied history. Horror concepts from multiple albums were used in the décor; fans can rest-assured that this show will only get larger and more impressive at future performances.
KING DIAMOND continued to hit the stage from 2013 to 2018 including performances at Rock Hard Festival (DE), Copenhell (DK), Graspop (BE), Metal Days (SI), Bloodstock Open Air (UK), Loudpark (JP), Wacken Open Air (DE), a 2014 North American tour with Jess and the Ancient Ones, Fun Fun Fun Fest (US), toured as a part of the 2015 Mayhem Festival in the summer (US), a fall 2015 North American tour with Exodus as special guests, Sweden Rock fest (SE), Hellfest (FR),and Psycho Las Vegas (US).
In 2019, after the release of the KING DIAMOND‘S first new single in 12 years “Masquerade of Madness“, the band hit the road with a series of live shows in Europe including stops at Summer Breeze festival (DE), Graspop (BE), Hellfest (FR), Rock Fest (ES), and with Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats and Idle Hands as special guests for 19 dates across North America.
KING DIAMOND‘s 30+ year musical career is one of the most storied in history of heavy metal, but the tale is not yet over. The most recent release, 2007′s Grammy nominated album Give Me Your Soul…Please, stands as one of the most critically-acclaimed albums in an already iconic discography. Future albums will feature entirely new horror stories, concepts, haunting orchestrations, and the band’s signature brand of heavy metal from the mind of KING DIAMOND and the talented group of musicians: Andy LaRocque – Guitar, Mike Wead – Guitar, Pontus Egberg – Bass, Matt Thompson – Drums. Many more albums, tours, and ventures lay ahead.
After nearly two decades, the wait is over! East Bay thrash metal legends SADUS have returned with a massively anticipated new album, The Shadow Inside, out today from Nuclear Blast Records. It’s been 17 long years since the release of their last full-length, Out For Blood (2006), and the band sounds just as viciously vital as the day they first lit up audiences almost 40 years ago!
Recorded with Juan Urteaga (EXODUS, TESTAMENT, MACHINE HEAD) at Trident Studios, The Shadow Inside is a merciless masterclass of thrash with blistering tracks like ‘Scorched And Burnt,’ ‘It’s The Sickness‘ and ‘Ride The Knife,” that further cement the band’s metal legacy.
Today, SADUS aims attention towards another standout track, ‘Anarchy,’ which is accompanied by the brutal video below.
Commenting on the song, lead vocalist/guitarist Darren Travis states:
“In a world of confusion, people will rise to Anarchy.. there’s no turning back..!“
Featuring ominous artwork by accomplished artist Travis Smith (FLESHGOD APOCALPYSE, OPETH), The Shadow Inside, is a contemporary thrash classic with colossal, groove-laden riffs at break-neck rhythm and blistering solos. It’s the record fans have been waiting desperately for and one of the year’s most crucial metal albums.
Commenting on the record’s impending release, Darren Travis says:
“I am giddy with excitement for this album to be unleashed upon the world. With the help of the entire Nuclear Blast team, we will bestow a hugely anticipated release of The Shadow Inside!!
THANK YOU for your interest in our little band for all these years. I hope you will find the same release of excitement that WE DO!! The love of METAL is the only reason for SADUS!! Thank you ALL for the undying SUPPORT!!!! Fucking SADUS!!“
The Shadow Inside Track List:
1. First Blood 2. Scorched And Burnt 3. It’s The Sickness 4. Ride The Knife 5. Anarchy 6. The Devil In Me 7. Pain 8. No Peace 9. New Beginnings 10. The Shadow Inside
About SADUS:
It has been sixteen long years since the monstrous sound of SADUS last bestowed a new record upon the world, but the time has finally arrived. This November, Nuclear Blast Records proudly presents the triumphant return of the unconquerable SADUS with their sixth full-length studio album, titled The Shadow Inside.
Adorned with the compelling artwork of Travis Smith, the album cover depicts an all-consuming demon of the cosmos fiercely enveloping a tortured soul beneath, perfectly encapsulating the vision and duality that the songs on this record deliver. Founder and drummer Jon Allen shares his excitement about working with Travis once again, reminiscing about their collaboration on Elements of Anger. He points out that several tracks on the new album, such as ‘The Devil In Me’ and ‘The Shadow Inside,’ revolve around the idea of an internal entity constantly pushing us. At times, one might find themselves at the edge of reason, attributing their actions to the shadow within, an external force they blame for their choices. While not a concept album per-se, every song deals with life decisions and the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions to unlock the best life has to offer. The track ‘The Shadow Inside’ boasts a heavier and slower tone, with a touch of classic, gut-wrenching grind, creating a fitting climax to the album.
A formidable darkness flows through tracks like ‘Anarchy’. Evidently influenced by the tumultuous post-Covid times of mass hysteria, looting, and general loss of control, the melody reflects this chaotic environment. Allen describes the track as “more straightforward and in-your-face, hitting listeners right in the gut. “Despite the intensity, SADUS manages to retain their signature death/thrash blend, staying true to their old-school roots. The aggression remains palpable, allowing their music to speak for itself with raw, unapologetic power.
‘Scorched and Burnt’ follows suit, with its steady beat and chaotic vocals seamlessly intertwining with blistering guitar work. The track gradually transitions into an impassioned melody, igniting a fiery explosion as the song nears its conclusion. Although inspired by the literal wildfires that plagued California during its creation, ‘Scorched and Burnt’ delves deeper into the idea that individuals often feel like someone or something is constantly out to get them. Yet, in the end, the song urges unity, recognizing that every action, even in chaos, ripples through the lives of others.
The process of creating The Shadow Inside was unhurried and unencumbered by unnecessary roadblocks. SADUS allowed their creativity to flow naturally, collecting riffs and writing together in person. The band took their time, nurturing and developing their musical ideas until they evolved into the powerful tracks we hear today. Allen emphasizes that their drama-free and family-oriented approach to making music is one of the reasons their sound speaks so powerfully to their fans. Collaborating with Juan Urteaga of Trident Studios added another layer of refinement to the album, as his expertise in death metal played a vital role in shaping its overall sound.
All that being said, SADUS is not a band that simply stands apart from the crowd for the sake of being different. They stand tall, unswayed by mass hysteria and media influences, choosing to make their own decisions and encourage others to do the same. In a world filled with disinformation and false flags, they emphasize the importance of being smart, using common sense, thinking for ourselves, and remaining aware of our surroundings.
As November approaches, the anticipation for The Shadow Inside is sure to grow. With their uncompromising vision, SADUS continues to stand as a beacon of authenticity and integrity within the heavy metal community, forever forging their path in the ever-evolving landscape of music.

French extreme metal avant-gardists CELESTE have released a video for the song ‘Plisse les yeux jusqu’au sang‘ from their new EP, Epilogue(s), which is out today through Nuclear Blast Records.
The EP features three exclusive bonus tracks from their most recent album, Assassine(s) (2022). Epilogue(s) beautifully concludes the transformative journey CELESTEembarked upon two years ago. Pushing the boundaries of heavy music once again, CELESTEdelivers a sonic tapestry of stunning diversity, immersing listeners in a realm where ethereal melodies meet raw power. Prepare to be captivated as the band’s artistic vision reaches its pinnacle, leaving an indelible mark on your musical soul.
And now embark on a spellbinding cinematic journey with the vdeo for ‘Plisse les yeux jusqu’au sang‘, a song which sees CELESTEcombine hauntingly melodic textures with probably their heaviest riffs to date.
Having played more than 500 shows around the world, including appearances at several prestigious extreme music festivals, theaters and venues (Hellfest, Roskilde, Copenhell, SummerBreeze, Brutal Assault, Roadburn, Psycho Las Vegas…), with one EP and six albums under their belt, CELESTE have succeeded in creating their own musical atmosphere and are today considered to be one of the most important bands of the “French Avant-Garde Black-Metal” scene.
For 15 years, this French metal band has crafted a hybrid sound that defies easy categorization but remains unmistakable. By skillfully blending elements of black metal, post-metal, and hardcore, CELESTE has created a singular and immersive musical experience, characterized by its violence, oppressiveness, and darkness.
While CELESTE is renowned for their musical prowess, their live shows are equally famous for their apocalyptic and suffocating experiences. Immersed in complete darkness and thick smoke, the audience relies on strobe flashes and the red beams of the musicians’ headlamps for guidance.
“This band has become one of the defining groups of their generation. Cult favorites for a notoriously picky group of fans, it’s easy to see why CELESTE are viewed as some of the best out there right now” METAL INJECTIONRevisit CELESTE‘s most recent album, ASSASSINE(S): https://celeste.bfan.link/assassine-s

Season of Mist is partnering with the musicians of Savage Lands. Through this partnership, we’ll bang our heads together with members of Megadeth, Sepultura, Obituary and other legends of metal to support forests in Costa Rica. This is the first time a record label will be partnering & releasing the music of a non-profit organization.
*Listening to Savage Lands is already donating directly to this forest preservation effort.*
More music is coming from Savage Lands next year. In the meantime, please share the news about “The Last Howl”, along with information about how the metal community can support this cause.
After seeing first-hand how deforestation threatens Costa Rica’s ecosystem, two angry metalheads started their own non-profit organization. Named after their joint passion for savage heavy metal and wildlife preservation, SAVAGE LANDS was founded in 2022 by Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren and musician-turned-activist Sylvain Demercastel, who’s a resident of Costa Rico.
“Hearing the chainsaw on a daily basis, because of a recent real estate fever destroying Costa Rica’s ecosystem, we thought it was time to start a new type of action”, says Sylvain. “We are reaching out to this great active community of metalheads.”
Today, SAVAGE LANDS are debuting their first single. “The Last Howl” features Andres Kisser (Sepultura) and John Tardy (Obituary). 100% of the song’s royalties will go toward protecting threatened lands from deforestation.

Formed in 1981, Slayer assaulted the world with a new hybrid of metal and punk – heavier, faster and darker than the rest – and set a new standard, defining not only a genre, but an attitude. Throughout Slayer‘s history, the band never faltered in unleashing their extreme and focused aural assault, and repudiating temptations, Slayer always chose to remain crushing and brutal, steadfastly refusing to cater to the mainstream.
Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, Show No Mercy is the debut studio album by American thrash metal masters, Slayer. The album was initially released on December 3, 1983, by Metal Blade Records, who, in honor of Show No Mercy‘s 40th anniversary, will be unleashing two unique pieces of vinyl for fans: A limited edition “Blood” filled liquid vinyl – limited to 250 worldwide, and the Show No Mercy (40th Anniversary Edition) vinyl set that includes a Gold Black Dust LP mastered for vinyl from the original master tapes by Patrick W. About the band: At this stage in the game, the name Whitechapel commands respect. Already sitting on one of the most enviable catalogs in contemporary metal, in 2019 they dropped The Valley, showcasing a confident evolution in their sound and standing as a true landmark release that sets a new standard for the genre. “To me, it was like the stars aligning for us to create our almost perfect record in regard to songwriting, vocal performance, the mix and master, and the artwork,” says guitarist Alex Wade. “We like to look at our albums as chapters of our career, and that is one chapter I will never forget. I think it really solidified that we can embrace a new sound, and if we execute it properly, then the fanbase is going to support and enjoy it.” In 2021, they return with that album’s successor, the mighty Kin, which is an even more dynamic and diverse collection, further advancing the band’s sound into new territory without losing sight of what brought them to this point. “I feel with every album, we learn what worked best on the last one and try to utilize that in our writing. Early in the writing, there was some discussion of the album being like ‘The Valley’ part II, not literally called that, but in how the songs sound and flow through it. It’s very much a storytelling type record like ‘The Valley’ was,” adds vocalist Phil Bozeman, “Musically, we just want to create what we vibe with at the given moment. We write music with how we feel and not what is expected of us, while lyrically the idea of continuing from the story of ‘The Valley’ was always the goal.”
“For a generation of fans, Whitechapel are the most legitimately brutal band of the deathcore movement” – Kerrang!
“Their music attacks from the first track, and they draw you in, commanding your attention with their performance and presence. This is how I’ve always felt about Whitechapel” – Metal Nation
“Whitechapel has certainly become, in my opinion, one of the more unique metal bands still making music today” – Metal Injection

CATTLE DECAPITATION released their tenth studio album, Terrasite, on May 12th via Metal Blade Records.
Though many bands have tried, no one articulates the real apocalypse humanity is facing as vividly and succinctly as CATTLE DECAPITATION. With 2019’s Death Atlas, they reached the apex of this, perhaps leading some to believe they had no place left to go beyond such an achievement, but alas, they return with Terrasite, which is as bold a statement as they have ever made.
“After a record like Death Atlas, you have to make a turn,” notes guitarist Josh Elmore. “Everything about that album – the concept, artwork, music, etc, was a final statement. The only way to move forward is rebirth. In approaching the newest record, it was not only necessary to keep the musical trajectory the band has been aiming towards since the beginning, but also to further explore the ambient/textural elements that were part of Death Atlas.”
As such, Terrasite pushes their sound further into more epic and varied territory, and in the hands of vocalist Travis Ryan the governing concept takes a new and disturbing direction. “I wanted to do the 180° opposite of Death Atlas. I already had the concept idea from years back and since Death Atlas was so dark and brooding, I wanted a completely opposite effect – I wanted this to take place in the daylight. I’ve always found daytime horror to be really unsettling so I wanted to make sure what was going on on the cover took place in the light of day, which also finds its place within the lyrics.”
The title is a word invented by Ryan that brings together “Terra-” meaning “earth” and “-site” derived from the Greek word “-sitos” which means “food.” “The combination of the two means ‘earth-eater.’ It’s a metaphor for humanity’s role in the destruction of the planet and is a play-on-words of the very fitting word ‘parasite.'”
This is vividly brought to life in the artwork by longtime collaborator Wes Benscoter (Vader, Kreator, Bloodbath, Hypocrisy). “We see the nymph stage of this human/cockroach hybrid that is more of a fully grown being that has just molted from its ootheca stage, startled, confused, frightened but also pissed off.
The band once again worked with producer Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Allegaeon), who knows the members’ individual styles and how to coax the best out of them, bringing in Tony Parker of Midnight Odyssey to handle piano and synths.
Terrasite is available as a jewel case CD, digitally, and on vinyl in the following color variants:

“…a document that encapsulates a specific moment, an artifact that is etched with disdain and steeped in the loss of friends… it speaks to the depth and musical appetite that has been growing in the band’s ranks for over a decade. Terrasite is the next important step for a consistently excellent band…” – Decibel Magazine
“Since their early 2000s classics like To Serve Man and Humanure, the group have only gotten more extreme and unique doling out late-career highlights like 2012’s Monolith Of Inhumanity and this year’s Terrasite. Congrats, boys.” – Revolver’s Top Six Death Metal Band’s Right Now
“…another absolutely stellar release from these guys with lyrics and themes that represent the apex of today’s extreme music.” – Metal Injection
“…a powerful and important album. It is a must-listen for fans of extreme metal, and it is also a great album for anyone who cares about the future of our planet.” – MetalSucks
From total annihilation to rebirth, “Terrasite” takes you on a journey from anthropogenic ecocide, (Death Atlas) to a new beginning, (Terrasite). What sets Terrasite apart from the bands other works is the emphasis on melodic atmospheric sound while perduring incontrovertible savagery.Metal Lair
“They’ve evolved from a grind band into something even more maniacal with this album; a true and brilliantly executed hybrid of heavy death metal, brutal grind and lyrical terror.” – Lambgoat
“…a phenomenal album that’s well worth the time of extreme metal fans who want to hear a band perpetually push itself.” – Blabbermouth
“…a brutal and uncompromising display of technical deathgrind. The band have been steadily pushing the boundaries of the genre for over 25 years, and this album is no exception.” – Invisible Oranges
“The collective musicians in CATTLE DECAPITATIONshow their chemistry in full power on Terrasite. The cadence and enunciation by vocalist Travis Ryan along with the varied rhythms from drummer David McGraw are especially fascinating to me as a longtime drummer that also tries to sing occasionally… Anyone who still tries to diminish or discount death metal as a genre with defined musical parameters can quickly have that mindset destroyed with only a few minutes of listening to this record.” – No Echo
“CATTLE DECAPITATION willingly wallow in the worst offerings of humanity (and whatever follows us). It makes their music sicker, slimier, and weaponized for pushing back against the same injustices and ills we propagate. As such, Terrasite is a brutal exercise in knowing your enemy – it just so happens the enemy is yourself.” – Everything Is Noise
“The band’s prior work gazed upon the futility of mankind’s ability to change its nature; Terrasite boldly suggests something else entirely: the horror of existence itself. Album Of The Year contender, without a doubt.” – The Razor’s Edge
“Terrasite improves upon Death Atlas in a multitude of ways giving us aggressively emotional melodeathgrind forcing upon us their message of anti-consumption and anti-violence in the most violently cathartic of ways! The best record since The Anthropocene Extinction, maybe their best yet!” – Metal Wani
“Terrasite… confirms their status as unshakeable gods of the scene… a phenomenal death/grind album in its own right. Not one moment of tedium or insincerity, just fifty minutes of excitement and the highest quality musicianship.” – Metal Observer
“Terrasite seethes with unbridled fury and abject hostility. If you like your deathgrind/goregrind/grindcore to be one-dimensional, atonal noise where pigs die squealing in their caves for no longer than a minute at a time then you’re in the wrong place. However, if you want growth, exploration, and mutation then look no further. Terrasite is a fucking monster.” – Ghost Cult
DOMINATION CAMPAIGN is: Jason Peppiatt – Vocals, bass, guitar Joe Haley – Drums, recording, mixing, mastering
Tasmania, Australia old school death metal duo DOMINATION CAMPAIGNhas today announced their sophomore album, A Storm of Steel, which will be released via Prosthetic Records on January 12. Comprised of Psycroptic pair Jason Peppiatt and Joe Haley, DOMINATION CAMPAIGN has also shared the lead single and accompanying music video, The Iron Beast.
Speaking on the album announcement, Jason Peppiatt (vocals, bass, guitar) comments: “We’ve been sitting on this album for a while now so it’s great to finally be able to announce A Storm of Steel – which will be kicking off our 2024 with a bang. I’ve been obsessed with old school death metal since the time when it was new enough to simply be called ‘death metal’.”
Speaking on The Iron Beast, Peppiatt shares: “This album has a touch more melody than the debut and that can be heard in the first single, The Iron Beast, which is one of the faster paced tracks on the album. The track tells the grim (fictional) tale of an army marching on a European town, and sets the tone for the rest of the album.”
Having enlisted Psycroptic bandmate Joe Haley for 2021 debut, Onward To Glory, the winning formula was retained when work began on A Storm of Steel. Jason laid down vocals, bass and guitar tracks, whilst Joe took care of drums, recording, mixing and mastering. Whilst they’ve not strayed too far from the core death metal sensibilities of their first ride out, A Storm of Steel is a more melodic affair featuring guitar harmonies (and even a guitar solo), whilst simultaneously being heavier overall.
Lyrically the album is inspired by tales of war, but unlike other bombastic war-themed albums out there, DOMINATION CAMPAIGN don’t seek to glorify battle. Instead they depict the atrocities experienced – both on a grand scale and the more personal, intimate terror of conflict. The artwork by Peppiatt continues this theme, bringing a visual element to the dirty, gritty reality of life in the trenches.
Uniting old school death metal values with modern production, DOMINATION CAMPAIGN have crafted an eight-track heavy metal odyssey that follows in the footsteps of the likes of Bolt Thrower, Sinister and Deicide. With more than two decades of experience under their belts, DOMINATION CAMPAIGN have refined the art of bringing fetid tales to life in the great tradition of death metal.

Bleed From Within have had an extraordinary year. They’ve just stepped off of the Lamb Of God Headbangers Boat cruise, following on from a colossal summer run which took in both headline shows, performances with Heaven Shall Burn and festival appearances at the likes of Brutal Assault (Czech Republic), Summer Breeze (Germany) and Alcatraz(Belgium), finishing up with a 13-date tour supporting Trivium across the UK. This was all on top of a hugely successful debut American tour earlier this year with August Burns Red and The Devil Wears Prada.
To celebrate this exceptional year, Bleed From Within have released their ShrineDeluxe Edition today, alongside a new single titled ‘Overthrone‘, which is accompanied by a lyric video.
Their stunning latest studio album Shrinewasreleased in the summer 2022, marking the band’s most groundbreaking work to date and staking out Bleed From Within‘s bold intent. The Scottish 5-piece claiming their position as the most exciting prospect in modern metal.

This era of Bleed From Within is something we have worked so hard toward, and in this moment we are extremely grateful to all those who have made it possible. Bleed From Within released their stunning studio album Shrine in June 2022. It was the most fiercely anticipated record of their career, and their most groundbreaking work to date.
Shrine was recorded at Real World Studios and at Bleed From Within‘s HQ, UK. The record was self-produced. Mixing was handled by Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood and Sebastian Sendon, with drum engineering handled by Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood, guitar, bass and vocal engineering by Steven Jones, additional production by Jamie Finch, string composition by Simon Dobson and Parallax Orchestra, strings engineered by Peter Miles at Middle Farm Studios, and additional backing vocals by Hannah Boulton on the tracks ‘Flesh & Stone‘ and ‘Paradise‘.TheShrine artwork was created by David Provan, with layout by Simon Atkinson.
Bleed From Within have been to hell and back, but they are no strangers to enduring hardship. When a global pandemic threatened to shut down their plans, the Glaswegians collectively raised five middle fingers and pressed on. It’s no surprise that this unstoppable riff machine continues to crush forward at such a frantic pace – there’s no putting the breaks on the heaviest band to ever emerge from Scotland.
The band’s reputation as one of the most formidable forces in modern metal has earned them tour slots with Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Testament and Heaven Shall Burn, to name just a few. 2021 saw them dominate the UK live scene; selling out their largest ever headline tour in November, capturing hearts on Bullet For My Valentine‘s arena tour, slay a Lamb Of Godlivestream support slot, alongside (literally) blazing performances at Download Festival andBloodstock Festival.
Shrine has taken the most graft to put together of any record in their catalog, challenging their self-perception on both personal and technical levels – the culmination of two years hard work that embodies their artistic might. Armed with the learnings of evolving their sound over the last decade without ever losing sight of their DIY roots, this is Bleed From Within at their very best. There’s no denying the band’s inevitable next steps are world domination, with Shrinea turning point moment.
Set to release their first full-length “As The Bridges Collapses” at the end of November on Rockshots Records, NOPROPHECY is offering up their next slab of music with the single “Broken”, an intense and aggressive song, fueled with harsh vocals that spit and exorcise from start till its end.
Established in 2013 by Alveria Sykes, Singapore’s NOPROPHECY has emerged as a formidable force in modern metal. The band’s inception was fueled by a collective passion for music and a desire to unite their musical abilities in a band setting. Each member looked up to revered musicians, aspiring to bring their own unique touch to the musical landscape.
During its formative years, NOPROPHECYsaw a rotation of musicians, but by the release of “After Life Comes EP” in 2016, the band had solidified its lineup, setting the stage for what would become a promising musical journey.
Describing their sound in five words – Aggressive, Melodic, Intense, Groove, and Dynamic – NOPROPHECY has consistently pushed boundaries, showcasing their signature blend of fierce intensity and melodic artistry.
NOPROPHECY anticipates that its upcoming album As The Bridge Collapses” will captivate fans with its versatility. Promising a multifaceted experience, the album will delve into the band’s signature melodic style while exploring various stylistic shifts across metal genres.
“There are so many variations the band incorporates into its songwriting with this album and we believe there is something for everyone. We feel an album should always have a flow from start to finish and that is what we’re trying to achieve with this album. We definitely played around with the choruses more this time, keeping in mind to engage more crowd participation for this album cycle. We want to give the fans a refreshing experience, yet something that is relatable on a personal level.” adds the band
NOPROPHECY invites fans and metal enthusiasts alike to join them on this exciting and diverse musical venture. With their dedication to delivering a powerful live experience, NOPROPHECY incorporates backing tracks during performances to elevate the audience’s engagement. Sykes, now the full-time vocalist, further enriches their live shows through enhanced interaction and increased crowd participation.
Recommended for fans of Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, and As I Lay Dying, “As The Bridge Collapses” is due out on November 24th, 2023 from Rockshots Records.
